I got these because the thermostat dials in my apartment are way off & I also wanted to be able to measure the humidity around my windows on occasion. The hygrometer works great and updates within a minute at most when you move the thermopro to a different spot. I bought just one about 6-8 months ago and because it works so well I got 2 more for the other 2 thermostat dials in my apartment because others in my home like to crank the heat up in the morning and I want them to have a visual as to how much it's actually needed. 8 also have a thermopro digital meat thermometer that has a probe/wire save to have in the oven while your meat is cooking and it works great as well. It seems to be a real quality brand and I doubt I'll opt for any other brands when I'm looking for digital thermometers again.

I live in the desert where 8-15% humidity is the norm. I fell in love with a little nerve plant and decided to try to raise the humidity to around 40% or so with my essential oil mister (I put plain distilled water in it for this purpose) and to spritz her with distilled water several times a day. I needed a humidity reader and this one has worked perfectly!! I am SO HAPPY with this purchase and the purchase price. I’m able to keep an eye on the humidity all day and my nerve plant, Minerva, seems quite happy.
